The Teacher is Silent

Sometimes when life becomes overwhelming, it is easy to falter in our faith.  We ask why?  Yet if we had the answer, we still would not understand because the One who made us has thoughts higher than ours.  This is where trust comes in.  In the wee hours of the night, when we wrestle with our thoughts of doubt, we must encourage ourselves with the promises of God.  We may feel like we are alone, yet God promises never to leave us or forsake us.  When we experience injustice, we must remember that He is a just God.  He is our defender, even when it appears that He is absent. Things are not always as they appear.  FEAR floods our being in the midst of crisis but we must remember that FEAR is only an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real and faith and fear cannot reside in the same place.  Therefore, choose faith.  Total trust and faith in his wisdom is VERY hard when we are in the midst of turmoil and the outcome is bleak, yet we must not give up.  We must not fall prey to the devils tactics. If the devil cannot have our soul, his aim is to ruin our life.  This life is only a vapor and hardship here, though it seems unbearable now, will vanish from our memory for all eternity.  As long as we remain in this world, God is still working on us.  We are being transformed by the renewing of our minds.  This comes through diligent study of scripture.  God's word tells us to "study to show yourselves approved unto God."  Unless we spend time with Him we cannot claim to know Him.  And it is impossible to have faith in or trust someone you do not know.  The next time you are in the midst of a crisis, simply remember that the teacher is always silent during a test.
